The Lake County YR’s is a group of young people looking to bring a new and inclusive style to an old brand often brushed-off by young people. The board is a group of motivated young people from throughout North Suburban Chicago that is dedicated to the idea of providing our communities with an innovative take on politics that will have a lasting impact.

As an organization, our goal isn’t to just be another politics social club where people come to rant, but a group that adds value, insight and investment in the future of our communities and our generation.

We are active in reaching out to young people and getting in them involved. If you’re in high school and trying to figure out how politics and government impacts your life, or if you’re a young adult looking to find a job, pay off student loans, and build a career and are starting to see how much of an impact politics has on those things, we hope you’ll check us out.

Don’t live in Lake County, but right next door? We welcome you to get involved! The Lake County YR’s mission it to get as many young people engaged as possible, so we welcome you to join us! Many Congressional and State Representative districts share a border with surrounding areas. Our goal is to utilize that relationship to help the cause!
